LTE 4G use in Europe / and UK o2 especially

Would someone kindly clarify the 4G issues for UK?
I saw this below but dont understand it…I have an MX2 (which worked in UK without problem as did my older smaller Meizu MX…but what about the MX4?
I have an o2 contract which I think is 800 therefore not supported…I wont be able to use 4G on my MX4 (if I get one) is that correct please?
Only Oppo 7 works!
rgds to all

The basic translation is that, like the MX, the MX2 supports quad-band GSM and penta-band WCDMA. Barring a surprise, that means Meizu is using the same radio hardware in the MX2 as they did for the MX. We’ll see for sure when the MX2 gets its eventual teardown after the reviews start being published.

The MX2 will work in the USA and Canada and will support AWS (1700/2100). Meizu has apparently done bench testing -at least on the 850 band- but the engineer seems confident and said let’s wait for actual reviews rather than just show test results.

The engineer confirms that the main reason for listing the MX2 as GSM 900/1800 + WCDMA 2100 is that those are the frequency standards most commonly used in the PRC…at least for GSM. The WCDMA 2100 is for 3G service on China Unicom.
对于芯片来说,MX2和MX一样是支持GSM850/900/1800/1900四频段,支持WCDMA850/900/1700(AWS)/1900/2100五频段,

It’s not known at the moment what radio hardware the MX4. But the problem is that China and Hong Kong don’t use the 800MHz band, so we can only hope it will be supported.

The MX4 is out now in China and HK M61 version…
can we know the MX2/MX3/MX4 bands compared particularly comparing the China versions as well.

I have a china version MX2 that works great in UK on 3g but I think the MX4 China version wont work on 4g in Uk and want to recheck if it works on 3g in UK.

I am on o2 and want to be sure China M4 will work on 3g at least…I know I think that it wont work on 4g (neither will HK M61 international version) as its 800 on o2 here in UK

As far as I know, these are the bands of the international version M461:

2G GSM/GPRS/EDEG:850/900/1800/1900MHz

3G(WCDMA/HSPA+):850/900/1900/2100MHz

4G-LTE:
FDD-LTE(B1/B3/B7) (2100,1800,2600)

If the Wikipedia information is updated:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_LTE_networks

and you are a O2 user, you wont have LTE in your phone.
But you as you can see EE and 3 might do.

Looks like your connection to Meizufans was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
