@zyper95
Is this suitable for M578U runing 4.5.3.2a, and to be installed from the stock recovery?

Also, two months ago there was a topic on 4.5.3i (with flyme account for rooting, too), but it required flashing through terminal apk. It was two months ago but named that time as 4.5.4i?!
Is this the same thing (but here as a regular update.zip), or how are these two ‘international’ versions related:

@zgfg This is a regular update.zip for the International Meizu M2 (mini) what’s also known as M578H.

If you use Method 3 of @Abaggie 's guide, and transform your phone into the International Model, with his hack. Then you will be able to install the here stated firmware out of the box.
Link: https://meizufans.eu/forum/topic/2599/guide-how-to-install-i-international-firmware-on-your-chinese-mainland-meizu/2

The story behind this firmware is, that @zyper95 asked the Hong Kong Support of Meizu for it, and they gave him a link, to a google drive, where this update.zip was stored. He downloaded it, and shared it here.

But be careful, right now there is no independent confirmation, so no 100% guarantee. If you apply this update it’s on your own risk.

And if you already tried it, or are about to try it. Please report back and give @zyper95 's topic some good feedback, and of course thank him loads for it.

M578U

Aside from what @Ultrametric mentioned the only difference with the two firmware is that the 4.5.3I does not have the Chinese bloatwares (a more trimmed version). It is always the best practice to install a firmware to avoid any issues is to install what is the compatible version for your device model.

Hi.For all those who are concerned if this firmware (4.5.3I) can be properly installed on m578h, i must confirm that i installed it without any problem on my meizu m2 mini(m578h) supplied by tccm wich i bought in eastern europe, romania.Also i could install the brand new 4.5.4I version without any problem and revert it back to the 4.5.3I.
The stock firmware on my phone was 4.5.3O and i am curious if anyone can suplly me a backup firmware of this version because i din not know how to do one or if it can be done before i made the upgrades i have just mentioned.
Thanks and a happy new year for all.

If you need the stock firmware that pre-shipped with your device you need to contact Meizu HK support that’s what I did to get the stock 4.5.3I for International model (not the Indian version 4.5.3I).

I can downgrade from 4.5.4I to this?

Looks like your connection to Meizufans was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
